Where: Meet in front of Hotel Bethlehem, in case of rain meet at CHAAR
What: Bring your dog for a walk on the town and practice good doggie public etiquette with Chaar Dog Trainer Debi.

With Spring in full swing, everyone wants to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather, including your dog! A dog walk in the park or around town is great, but if your K9's public etiquette is questionable then it could quickly turn into a sticky and unsafe situation. Chaar Dog Trainer Debi and her dog Shadow will show you and your pooch how to enjoy your walks in public in a safe and fun way!

Debi will show you tips and tricks on:

  • Loose leash walking
  • Handling distractions
  • Meeting and greeting strangers and their dogs politely
  • Safely crossing busy traffic
  • Walking through crowds
  • Paying attention & listening
  • Waiting calmly
  • and more!

What you'll need to bring:

  • Basic collar (or training collar if you use it)
  • 4-6' fixed length leash (NO flexi/retractable leashes)
  • 2-3 kinds of soft training treats (FILL a sandwhich bag or your treat bag, you're gonna need 'em!)
  • Doggie Doo Bags
  • Comfortable walking shoes
