About the Job:

Work at Chaar is a rewarding experience in a family owned company. Our three stores are located in the Lehigh Valley and are growing. We have plans to open additional stores this year and each year going forward. As an office administrator you are an important part of our success. You will be hands on with many facets to keep the business’s wheels turning. We rely on the office administrator’s communication skills, attentiveness to detail, and problem-solving skills every day.

What an Office Administrator does:

Our ideal office administrator is detail oriented, organized, passionate about creating the best experience for our customers, and determined in keeping lines of communication open between the various dimensions of our business.

  • Reviews and makes sure vendor commitments are upheld
  • Ensures online orders are packed and shipped promptly
  • Answers phones and resolves customer inquiries
  • Data entry into our web, retail, and accounting systems
  • Investigation and resolution of problems and discrepancies
  • Initiates and follows through on collecting credit and managing return authorizations with our suppliers
  • Organizing and filing business documentation
  • Assists other staff members in office and in retail store as needed
  • Assist in buying operations of preparing purchase orders and reviewing receipt of goods.


Successfully operating as an office administrator at Chaar is a challenging, yet rewarding task. This position requires strong skills in problem solving, prioritization, organization, and most importantly, excellent communication and follow-through. Some of the basic qualifications are as follows:
