Puppy kindergarden is geared towards young puppies between 8 weeks and 5 months old. This off-leash class helps teach your puppy basic manners and covers a wide range of issues such as chewing, play biting, jumping, shyness, and training a calm gentle nature.  You'll also work on some jr. obedience skills.  We put emphasis on positive reinforcement and healthy socialization between people and other dogs. Start anytime!

We highly recommend following up Puppy Kindergarten with a Level 1 Obedience class (dogs ages 5 months and up) or a Puppy Kindergarden II for younger pups.

  You can join an ongoing puppy class through the Headstart Program if you'd like to get started training and socializing right away.

Classes run for 6 weeks from start date.  If you miss a class, you may attend another similar class as a makeup within your 6 week period. (Check with your instructor.)  Start dates are based on enrollment and may change.

Dog training classes are offered on location at our store in Allentown, PA.  It's a pretty easy drive from anywhere in Bethlehem and Easton; we're located only about 1 mile south of Rt 22 on on Airport Rd.  Our training room is separate from the rest of the store to minimize distractions and keep you and your dog on track with learning, practicing, and socializing with others in the class. Our class size ranges from 4 to 8 dogs. If you ever need to make up for a missed class, just contact your trainer. Make up classes need to be completed by the end of the 6 week course.
