Its turquoise and cream stitching make this the perfect cowgirl boot to wear with a skirt or to tuck your jeans into. The square toe helps accomodate all foot shapes. On top of all that, this is a classic, handcrafted Nocona with a hand-pegged leather sole and cowboy heel which will surely make you stand out in a crowd.

Hi There,
You're right. These are not designed to be work boots; however, they can be resoled (which usually only costs a fraction of the price you pay for a new pair of boots). Also, when resoling, you might want to consider asking the shoemaker for a rubber sole to provide added durability. The local shoemaker that we use here in Allentown is called Camody. You can call or stop by the store for the contact info.
Also, to prevent leaking, we recommend using a mink oil or silicone based water repellent. Make sure to work the water repellent into seams and stitching thoroughly. Because these boots feature all leather uppers and do not have a built in waterproof bootie, water repellent will have to be reapplied periodically. The frequency of reapplication mostly depends on how often and in what conditions you wear the boots.
Feel free to give us a call regarding this or any other boot. We'd be happy to offer suggestions on alternatives, boot care, or just listen to your opinion about the product. See the "Contact Us" page for phone number and hours.

ive had my boots for 5 months and only wore them for 2-3 months. They are leaking after 3 months and now I noticed there is a hole in the bottom. I don't recommend for this amount of money.
