Sales Associate

We're seeking energetic, outgoing people to be a part of our sales staff.  Retail experience is helpful, but not required.  You should be comfortable introducing yourself to new people and striking up a conversation. 

Duties Include:

• Engaging customers to find out their needs
• Looking for solutions and alternative solutions to customer needs
• Processing transactions at the cash register
• Organizing and displaying merchandise
• Stocking merchandise
• Maintining a clean and tidy store presentation

Retail Management Trainee

This position requires someone who is self-motivated, attentive to detail,  has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and is capable of focusing on multiple job duties with frequent interruption from customers and sales associates needing assistance. Retail experience necessary to be considered for this position.

 Duties include:

• Supervising the floor
• Directing workflow of staff
• Insuring customers are being properly served
• Assisting with receiving and displaying new products
• Adapting to different tasks as necessary for the business

A little about who we are:

Chaar started in 2001 as a store primarily serving horseback riding customers.  Since then our business has evolved to serve a wider group of consumers including pet owners and clothing and footwear customers.  Recently we’ve seen rapid growth and are looking for key people to help sustain that growth as we develop into a multi-store chain over the next 2 to 4 years.  Opportunities for advancement and multi-store management may become available as we continue our growth trajectory.
