Local Specialty Retailer Signs Lease for Pet Supply Store in Saucon Valley

Bethlehem, PA (July 22, 2014) – Chaar has signed a lease for a new, pet-focused, store location in Saucon Valley, Pennsylvania with plans to open in the fall. The new location will serve as a pet supply and pet grooming store. It will not contain the footwear, apparel, and equestrian departments found in the anchor location on Airport Rd in Allentown, PA. According to Tony ElChaar, president & CEO of Chaar, “residents of the Lehigh Valley are only willing to travel so far on their regular trips to the pet supply store … which is why we plan to open several pet-focused stores in the Lehigh Valley.” Over the next three years Chaar has plans to operate a total of three to five pet-focused locations in the Lehigh Valley in addition to its anchor location. “With more people demanding healthy [pet food] options we feel the time is right to expand,” commented Mr. ElChaar.
